Hey, Neighbor, Can I Borrow your 3D Printer?

You never know until you ask.  I so badly want a 3D printer, that I am afraid that I'll make a spontaneous purchase and just buy the first available one.  But the one I really want to buy is the Bukito, which is in Kickstarter for the next few days.

So I visited Friend Diego at DeezMaker (Makes the Bukobot and Bukito) and explained my problem.  I really want the Bukito.  It's portable, tough has even flown on an octocopter! (now that's lightweight).  But I really just want to get started in 3D.

Diego, do you have one I can borrow?  Just so that I can keep my eye on the Bukito Prize?

He said yes!  Whoo Hoo!  It's an old model, one that's been sitting around at his shop.  He spent a little time and made sure it worked...

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Diego!  Friend Caprice and I are rubbing our hands together in glee!

Now, I've talked about these magical devices of 2013, and I have the names of software and the URLs of websites... but other than that... you and I... We're on the same footing.

Still, there's lots to do.  I have to visit the website to see what I need to do.  I'll make mistakes, there'll be botched prints, I imagine, while I learn how to handle the materials.  There's software to evaluate.  It's all part of the game.

More than that, I'm at the same time doing a whole bunch of other new stuff that involves new hardware, new software (some of it very complicated)... focusing on this one thing will be hard.
