Sunnin Lebanese Café

Some restaurants overload the menu to the point where it can take longer to decide what to eat than to actually eat it. That's not the case at Sunnin Lebanese Café.

The entrée menu is as straightforward as it gets -- kabobs and shawarma, end of story. Appetizers featuring eggplant and pastries such as Sanbousek and Fatayer, however, add quite a bit of color to the cafe's cuisine. Add six beautifully basic salads and vegetable dishes, and that completes the fare at this successful Los Angeles bistro, which began in Westwood in the 1990s. The Belmont Shore location was opened in 2004.
