George's Greek Café

<p>George's Greek Café is a family-owned and operated restaurant in the middle of Belmont Shore's 2nd Street drag. Its large front patio adds to the sidewalk café vibe that's a Belmont Shore hallmark.</p> <p>George and Demitri Loizides are a father-and-son team, each with multiple decades in the restaurant business. Their flagship restaurant is on Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach. This Belmont Shore location opened in 2007.</p> <p>George's food has a home-cooked, authentic flavor. Fans of lamb should try the New Zealand Lamb Chops or Souvlakia. Greek cheese appetizers, Saganaki and Halloumi, are also noteworthy.</p>
