Belmont Shore's 9th annual Thanksgiving morning outing along the beach was a lively festival of thousands, who burned off the feast long before it started. So many costumes dotted the bike path that we laughed until it ended at 11 a.m. Among our favorites to trot by the Patch tent: turkeys with pilgrims, pilgrims with Native Americans, and a quintent of female pilgrims that looked like a girl band in matching t-shirts with black running shorts ("Don't tell anyone it's my birthday," said a t-shirt each wore, with a photo of their friend Edie, who wore it with humor). HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND LOOK FOR OUR VIDEO SOON.
