All-Day Tattoos Today Will Support Tough Titties

With just a month left until the 2011 Team Spirit Breast & Ovarian Cancer 10K Walk, Team Tough Titties is continuing its fundraising efforts with an all-day benefit at American Beauty Tattoo Parlor in Sunset Beach on September 3. 

To honor those who have survived, support those fighting, and commemorate those who have lost their battle with breast or ovarian cancer, attendees can choose from a selection of pre-drawn tattoo designs for only $20. All proceeds will benefit Team Spirit.

The American Beauty Tattoo Parlor, located at 16860 Pacific Coast Hwy., will be open all day until 8 p.m. No appointments will be available during the promotion and space is limited, so participants should arrive early, eat regularly and join Team Tough Titties. This team was founded in 2004 in celebration of the survivors in their lives, and has raised over $75,000 for the fight against breast cancer.

Now in its 11th year of providing support for, as well as awareness about, the treatment, research and emotional well-being of breast and ovarian cancer patients and survivors in the greater Long Beach community, Team Spirit donates 100% of the proceeds from each year’s event to the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center Foundation.
