Shopping Spot: Lowell Kidsclub Craftie Faire Today

I'm thrilled to again be participating in the Lowell Elementary School Kidsclub Christmas Shopping Faire.  The faire is a fundraiser for the Lowell on-site childcare program, Kidsclub, and will be held in the Lowell cafeteria, this afternoon. It's open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Although there are some items you'll find at your local store, many things for sale at the faire will be handmade and one-of-a-kind, and I've seen kids go ga-ga over the crocheted caps with faces of their favorite Sesame Street characters.  There will be handmade blankets and jewelry, and each booth supplies a prize for a raffle!

If it is anything like last years' faire, Coachies Sandie and Maribel will be there, as well as Ms. Rosanne and many of the Kidsclub counselors.

I will also be there with a Handmade Penguin booth featuring some penguin- themed items, craft supplies and a few handcrafted items.

I was also thrilled to find out that one of the kids that participated in last years' Handmade Penguin booth has reserved his own booth this year!!!
