Lemonade Day 14: Long Beach Lemonade Ambassadors at Comic-Con

Long Beach creators at San Diego Comic-Con are Day 14 of Making Community Lemonade in Long Beach, CA.

!  I'm on a 100-day odyssey to discover community and creativity in Long Beach, CA. We've got such an amazing city, and I'm a huge fan, and want to share the discoveries with you. I'm seeking out the creatives and the facilitators of creativity.  The art and the locations that inspire art.  Bringing them to you, here in this blog, and to others, on the streets of Long Beach.

I call it .

Today was Day 14 of Making Lemonade.  Some Long Beach Lemonade Ambassadors went to the San Diego Comic-Con.

My husband, artist Don Schmidt, who goes by the creative name Bujinkomix, has been attending the San Diego Comic-Con as a creator.  He visits with creator Mike Wellman of the Manhattan Beach Comic Bug store, Emmy award-winning artist Rafael Navarro and with Ren Hanami, the Ninja Mom from Belmont Shore.  A few Long Beach youth are also there, exploring, creating, making lemonade of their own.

This post is all about the photos.  There are some great images of sculptures on display, as well as some awesome costumes!
