Wilson High's Marshall, Saller Named to All-CIF Soccer Team
The senior leaders from the CIF Division 2 finalists are named to the elite squad.
Wilson High girl’s soccer standouts Kim Marshall and Breegan Saller completed their four-year varsity career with the Bruins as they were selected to the CIF Division 2 All-CIF girl’s soccer team, the CIF-Southern Section announced.
In all, 22 players from each division were chosen by the coaches for their outstanding play this season.
It is a bittersweet honor for the Wilson High teammates, which won a CIF title and a mythical national title as freshmen. The Bruins lost 2-0 to Buena in the CIF finals, and lost in the second round of the Southern California Regional Tournament. Marshall, who was tagged for a pair of yellow cards in the CIF semifinals against Newbury Park, was ejected and could not play in the finals.

Saller, the Bruins goal keeper and Marshall (Wake Forest), a midfielder, led the Bruins to a Moore League title and were the No. 3 seed going into the Division 2 playoffs.
