Free Summer Camp With NFL's Marcedes Lewis

NFL player Marcedes Lewis will host a free football camp Saturday for hundreds of youth at his alma mater, Long Beach's Poly High School. And the Jacksonville Jaguars tight end said Friday that there is plenty of room for more families.

It's the fifth annual free football camp offered by the Jaguars' No. 99, and Lewis, 29, expects the largest turnout yet, with 525 campers pre-registered. About 50 coaches will work with players and Lewis works throughout the groups, according to his foundation.

Boys ages 7 to 17 are invited to participate, and their families are welcome to stay and watch. Pre-registration is urged but walk-ons are welcome. Camp runs from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Poly High is at 1600 Atlantic Ave  Long Beach. More information on Marcedes foundation you can visit www.Marcedeslewisfoundation.org
