Snow Day in Whaley Park

Two words that spark joy in the hearts of children everywhere: snow day! This event will feature more than 10 tons of fresh snow for sled races, snowball making and general merriment.

There will also be bounce houses, a live DJ, snow cones, face painting, arts and crafts, barbecued hot dogs from the Long Beach Police and Fire Departments, free giveaways and safety demonstrations. Plus, the Aquarium of the Pacific's Aquarium on Wheels will stop by as well.

This is a completely free event and guests can even park for free at California State University Long Beach's adjacent Parking Lot 14 on Atherton Street.
