Come out and participate in Long Beach's 23rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Peace and Unity Parade Celebration on Saturday, January 15, 2011, beginning at 10:30am at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave and Anaheim St.
The parade will continue north along Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, east on 19th St. and north on Lemon Ave. culminating at Martin Luther King Jr. Park at 1950 Lemon Ave.
A "Dreamland" celebration festival will be set up at the park and begins at noon with activities for young people, a health fair, live music, food booths and vendors.
