Bruins No. 5 In CIF Girls Soccer Poll

Wilson High is the only team from the Moore League ranked in Division 2 poll. The Bruins' girls water polo team also cracked the top 10.

The Wilson High girls soccer team, led by senior midfielder Kim Marshall, an All-CIF selection last season, is ranked No. 5 in the latest CIF Division 2 girls soccer poll.

 Palos Verdes is ranked No. 1 in the poll, which was released on Tuesday.

The Bruins breezed through their first three Moore League matches, beating Poly (4-2)  Jordan (3-1) and Cabrillo (3-1). They play at Millikan on Thursday.

The girls water polo team also appears in the CIF rankings, coming in at No. 7 in Division 2.
