GARDEN ANGELS AUGUST EXCHANGE!

Last Saturday the Garden Angels Cooperative of Long Beach had their August Produce Exchange! I'm a little late in posting due to a busy week, however I thought you'd like to know what we exchanged.

We received: Fuji Apples, Cucumbers, Jalapenos, Bell Peppers, Sweet Basil, 3 varieties of tomatoes, oranges, peanut butter cookies that were out of this world, and various veggie seedlings for planting.

Also exchanged were beautiful lavender sachets handmade by our Angel Michelle.  These adorable pouches are our featured picture and shown above.

Even though it was a small group this month, we enjoyed receiving a little bit of each contribution, and all participants were happy campers!

Thank you to the members who volunteered their time, home-made items and/or fresh garden treasures!

Wondering how to become a part of the wonderful group or get more information on how to purchase these sweet little sachets?  We always welcome new members, just send me your email and I'll be glad to answer your questions and/or add you to the invitee list!

Email:  gardenangelscooperative@yahoo.com and say, "Shannon, I want to participate in the next exchange!"

In the meantime, check out our website for more info:  http://gardenangelscoop.wordpress.com/
