Thankful for the Giving

A FREE Neighborhood Community Produce Cooperative.

Once again, our exchange was a GREAT SUCCESS during this month of November!  I am so thankful for the giving of produce, fruits, herbs, baked items and homemade goodies that our members contribute every month to share with members who are family, friends and stranagers.  We have a universal connection in the Garden Angels Produce Cooperative, and I am so grateful!

Being the week of Thanksgiving, I am especially wanting to share my deep gratitude ~ not only for each and every one of OUR Angel members, but each and every angel who takes care of our earth in any way... known and unknown, seen and unseen.   With the love of that comes through prayers to heal the earth; ideas of sustainable living for families; individual hands that are put in the soil to work hard; and the glorious harvesting of the soul-filled gardens of  many men, women and children ~ in each State, City, Community, neighborhood and yard ~ we are collectively building our eco-friendly, hands-on, grass root style connections one step, one community at a time.

The Garden Angels of Long Beach are a great example of this!   By stepping up to the plate, networking, sharing, bonding, becoming friends and forming our own garden cooperative family we're able to help each other through good times and bad.

It's time for all of us to change, dear friends.   It's time to pull together as one and work amongst ourselves to form groups that can take care of one another in times of need.  Let's expand our inner-circles of family and friends to include more people!  Let's allow more things to be taken care of by bartering, hiring friends-of-friends for contracting needs, sharing names and numbers of people who make things we can give as gifts for the holidays.  Let's be gracious in our giving and grateful in our recieving.

And most importantly, let's do all of the above while loving one another unconditionally and non-judgementally.

The time is now for us to change.

The Garden Angels Produce Cooperative has a free community monthly exchange of all the FRUITS, VEGETABLES, and HERBS we grow in our yards; a collective in which we all get to enjoy some of what everyone grows in  exchange for contributing what we don’t want or won’t use ourselves.  Then less food is wasted and we all get a variety of fresh local produce  to eat for FREE.

If you'd like to be part of the Garden Angels Produce Cooperative, please email Shannon at gardenangelscooperative@yahoo.com.
