Produce Co-Op: Good for Heart, Soul & Community!

A produce co-op thrives in Long Beach in a friendly community exchange called Garden Angels. Check it out.

Two weeks ago 10 community angels of the Garden Angels Produce Cooperative shared an abundance of fresh, locally grown fruits and veggies at our September Exchange of FREE produce! Here’s an example of the beautiful fresh garden goodies we received:

Fuji apples, lemons, rosemary, yellow pear tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, ortega peppers, bell peppers, two varieties of avocado, pineapple guavas, zucchini, cucumber, beets, radish, figs, green beans, gluten-free chocolate chip cookies, and samples of DRAGONFRUIT! Mmmm…dragonfruit… Yummy!

It is so wonderful to receive a FREE big bag of fresh Farmer’s Market style fruits and veggies that have just been picked and offered from the kindness of the hearts of true angels. All it takes is driving by and dropping off contributions and then coming back by later to pick up your gorgeous bag of FREE local angel goodness!  :-)
