LBUSD Board Vote on Schedule Changes Postponed

Long Beach School Board wants to review changing class hours that would impact elementary, middle and high schools. It would save $1 million and teens do better with later start.

The following notice just arrived Friday from the Long Beach Unified School District, announcing that the vote on school schedule changes has been postponed:

A Board of Education vote on proposed school schedule changes will no longer take place on Feb. 5.  The board instead is likely to consider the matter at one of its public meetings in the coming weeks.
