Free, Fun Local Concert by The Jazz Angels

The nonprofit musical group that serves surrounding communities will perform The History of Jazz Saturday afternoon at Long Beach Playhouse.

What's better than a free afternoon of music? How about a free show that shares the love of jazz, its rich history and the young local musicians who are mastering it?

Showcasing the talent of youthful Jazz Angels players from Long Beach, Seal Beach and other neighboring areas is The History of Jazz, performed at the Long Beach Playhouse from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Again, did we mention it is free?

The address is 5021 E. Anaheim Street, and all the details are on the adjoining flier and at Jazz Angels.org's website and Facebook page.
