Protect Your Child From Lead Poisoning

The community is invited to a free "Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention" workshop at the MacArthur Park/Whittier School Neighborhood monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Mark Twain Neighborhood Library Community Room at 1401 E. Anaheim St. Free parking is available at the library parking lot. Translation will be provided in Khmer and Spanish.

Gabriela Madrigal of the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services will give a presentation about the Lead Hazard Control Program and how to protect your children from lead poisoning at an early age.

The City of Long Beach is dedicated to promoting residents with resources to address quality of life concerns in an effort to create and maintain clean, safe and healthy neighborhoods.
