Second Street Merchants Host 100 of Lowell's Finest
Fourth grade students will learn on-the-job skills as they work with business owners during next week's popular Merchant Mentor Days.
Lowell Elementary School will hold a series of Merchant Mentor Days on Tuesday, January 24 through Thursday, January 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This year's sponsor will be the Belmont Shore Business Association, as a number of local businesses will do their part to help educate over 100 4th grade students.
During each day, close to 36 students will go to the following businesses:

Students will gain a firsthand experience concerning the operation of businesses, which will go along with their Language Arts Unit called "Dollars and Sense."
