A man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a vehicle on a Long Beach street, authorities said today.
The accident occurred near the intersection of North Pacific Avenue and 29th Street around 6.30 p.m Monday, said Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Marlene Arona.
Neither the victim, nor the driver of the vehicle were immediately identified.
