Vandalism, Burglaries Among Belmont Shore Crimes for July

The following crimes were reported by Long Beach Police Department to crimereports.com for the month of July 2013 in Belmont Shore.

In July, there were six reports of vandalism in Belmont Shore, two with property damage of $400 or more and one was a destruction of others’ property.

July also saw an increase in the number of assaults reported. There were four reported cases of assault, one was an assault on emergency/police personnel, compared to only three reported cases in June. There were also three reports of robbery, compared to none last month.

Bike thefts remained a problem for the area as well as commercial and residential burglaries. There were three reported incidents of bike theft and 13 reported cases of burglary and one attempted incident.
