Two Men, One Woman Shot in Long Beach

Three people suffered non-life threatening wounds after being shot in the lower body.

Two men and a woman were shot and suffered non-life threatening wounds early Wednesday in Long Beach, police said.

All three victims were "hit in the lower body,'' and taken to hospitals, said Lisa Massacani of the Long Beach Police Department.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired around 10:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Walnut Avenue, near Fourth Street, Massacani said.
