Because of the shooting at a hair salon on Pacific Coast Highway in Seal Beach, Long Beach police are urging motorists to avoid PCH at the San Gabriel River bridge, which separates Long Beach and Seal Beach.
Traffic is expected to be heavy because of the number of law enforcement on scene. Seal Beach is in Orange County and Long Beach is in Los Angeles County. Long Beach police are not involved in the investigation, but they are assisting with psychologists and chaplains.
