Long Beach homicide detectives were investigating the shooting.

The car the upon which the suspect was firing sped away before officers arrived, and Long Beach police want to hear from the people inside or anyone who knows them.

"At least one person was in the car and we'd like to know if they were wounded," Eaton said. "They should call (562) 570-7244 or visit http://lacrimestoppers.org."
