Police hope video made public today will lead to the gunman who critically wounded a Long Beach convenience store clerk during a robbery.

The attack happened on March 24 at the Cerritos Mini Market in the 1100 block of Seventh Street, according to Long Beach police.

The gunman entered the business and shot 53-year-old Felix Avelar-Duran, who was struck in the upper body and remains hospitalized, police said. The gunman fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has approved a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in the shooting. Anyone with information about the case were urged to call Det. Nancy Mora or Detective Stephen Trentini of the Long Beach Police Department at (562) 570-7464.
