Long Beach police said the city's chopper was circling the Belmont Shore area late Sunday searching for an intruder.

Wondering what all the helicopter traffic was about Sunday night?

At least one suspect was captured, Arrona said, but further details are planned for release later this week as part of information about a series of incidents.

"We had the copter flying over low and circling for way over 30 minutes," reported one resident who lives near the above intersection. "It was actually very unsettling!"
