ROBBERY – 7300 block of East Carson Boulevard – 6:30 a.m. Officers responded to a report of an adult male victim who was held at gunpoint by three adult male suspects and forced to withdraw money from his bank. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY – 1000 block of Clairborne Drive – 1:30 p.m. Officers responded to a residential burglary, secured the location and found several items had been stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY – 5200 block of Long Beach Boulevard – 8:00 p.m. Two adult males were loitering in the area when four adult male suspects walked up, assaulted them and took their property. The investigation is ongoing.

ASSAULT – 1700 block of Long Beach Boulevard – 10:30 p.m. Officers responded to a report of shots fired and located an adult male victim. The victim was walking on the sidewalk when a group of adult male suspects approached him and began to shoot at him. None of the rounds stuck the victim. The investigation is ongoing.
HOMICIDE –Pacific Coast Highway and Linden Avenue – 11:30 p.m. Officers responded to a shots call and found a man lying in the street who had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body. Paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department tended to the victim, but he was determined to be deceased at the scene.
