Council District 2

FELONY ARREST – 500 block of Temple Avenue – 8:00 a.m. Long Beach patrol officers assisted the Pasadena Police Department with their investigation of an attempted murder case. The incident occurred in the City of Pasadena on August 10th. Officers located suspect and took him into custody without incident.

Council District 1

ASSAULT – 200 block of West Pacific Coast Highway – 4:00 p.m. An adult male suspect assaulted a female adult after she refused to give him money. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries to her lower body, which did not require medical attention. Officers quickly responded to the scene, located the suspect and took the suspect into custody without incident.

FELONY ARREST – 100 block of West 6th Street – 6:00 p.m. Long Beach patrol officers assisted U.S Marshals with their investigation of a murder case. Officers detained the suspect as he was attempting to flee and took him into custody without incident.

ASSAULT - 1400 block of Pacific Avenue – 7:00 p.m. Three adult male subjects became engaged in a verbal dispute, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. The subjects were armed with knives and they ended up stabbing each other. All three subjects sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital where they were listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

Council District 9

FELONY ARREST – 6000 block of Lemon Avenue – 6:00 p.m. Officers detained an adult male subject suspected of dealing drugs in local parks. Officers recovered narcotics and an illegal firearm. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Council District 6  

ROBBERY – 1300 block of Walnut Avenue – 10:00 p.m. An adult male victim was walking down the street when two adult male suspects assaulted him. The suspects took the victim’s property and fled from the area. The victim received minor injuries, which did not require medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.

Council District 4

ASSAULT – 2000 block of East Pacific Coast Highway – 12:00 a.m. Officers responded to the scene of a shooting and located an adult male victim. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

Council District 6

ROBBERY – 300 block of West 19th Street – 1:00 a.m. Four adult  male suspects approached two adult males, assaulted them and took their property. One of the victims sustained non-life threatening injuries throughout his body and was transported to a local hospital. Officers quickly responded and were able to locate one of the suspects. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident. The investigation is ongoing.
