Motorcyclist Killed in Long Beach Crash on PCH

A Saturday night collision on busy Pacific Coast Highway near 7th Street left one person dead.

A motorcycle rider was fatally injured in a collision with a pickup truck on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, police said.

The crash occurred near Seventh Street and it was reported about 8 p.m. Saturday, a Long Beach police spokeswoman said.

The motorcyclist was not identified as of early this morning, not even whether a female or male was driving it.

The other driver, in a pickup truck, was also not name nor was it disclosed the gender of that motorist, who was cited, but police did not say what the violation was.
