A couple reported missing after heading out for a visit to Joshua Tree National Park have been found, a park
spokesman said about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Helen Melnyk of Lakewood and Tony Nosow of Landers were reported missing
by family members on Sunday night. They had planned to drive back-county
roads in the park on Saturday, park spokesman Joe Zarki said.
Park spokesman Dave Carney said the couple had been found, but park
officials were still gathering details on where they had been and what
condition they were in when located.
