Police say he is expected to survive.

The shooting in the 1100 block of Daisy Avenue happened about 11:10 p.m. Saturday, and police said the victim, whose name was unavailable, should live.

According to Long Beach Police Department Cmdr. David Hendricks, detectives ``have, as yet, not been able to determine whether or not the shooting was gang related.''
