Man Fatally Shot Near 7th Street in Long Beach

Long Beach police are still searching for the shooter.

A man was shot and killed in downtown Long Beach tonight.

The shooting occurred at 7:37 p.m. at Seventh Street and Alamitos Avenue, said Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police Department. The victim died at the scene.

The area was being searched for a possible suspect, Arrona said.
