Monday, September 12

FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – 1200 block of Obispo Avenue –
1:00 p.m.
The Long Beach Police Department, working with the US
Marshal’s Office, arrested a wanted felony suspect after he barricaded himself at a private residence. The SWAT team was activated to safely take the male suspect into custody. -- Council District 4

ASSAULT – 7th Street and the 710 Freeway – 11:00 p.m. Officers discovered a man with stab wounds to his upper body. The adult victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 1

Tuesday, September 13

FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – Cedar Avenue and Market Street – 1:30 a.m. An officer conducting patrol in the area of Cedar Avenue and Market Street observed a suspicious male adult in the area. The officer watched the male subject tamper with parked cars. The officer detained the suspect and discovered he was on parole for theft. The suspect was arrested. -- Council District 8
