When the Police Chief's Office sends crime summaries, Patch posts them. This came late and covers Friday - Monday, Sept. 26.

Friday, September 23

ASSAULT – Pacific Coast Highway and Pine Avenue – 5:00 a.m. A male adult victim walked into a local hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound to his upper body. The victim was treated and a report was taken. -- Council District 1

FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – 700 block of Ohio Avenue – 11:30 a.m. An observant private citizen called the police after witnesses saw a male suspect removing a window screen from a private residence. Officers responded and immediately set up a perimeter, containing the suspect inside. A male juvenile subject was arrested without incident. -- Council District 2

FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – 2800 block of Atlantic Avenue – 4:00 p.m. Patrol officers answered a call where a female victim reported receiving threatening phone calls from a former acquaintance. After conducting an in depth investigation, the officers were able to locate the female subject and arrested her without incident. -- Council District 6

EXPLOSIVE DEVICE – 2000 Pacific Avenue – 8:30 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a possible explosive device in an alley. When officers arrived they found evidence of a detonated device. A report was filed and the investigation is continuing. No injuries or damage was reported. -- Council District 6

Saturday, September 24

SHOTS CALL – 200 block of Lime Avenue – 12:30 a.m. An unknown suspect(s) fired shots at an unoccupied vehicle. Officers collected evidence at the scene and filed a report. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 2

Sunday, September 25

ROBBERY – 200 block of East Artesia Boulevard – 4:00 a.m. A male adult victim was assaulted and robbed of his personal property. The victim was not injured and the suspect fled prior to the police arriving. -- Council District 9

FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – 56th Street and Chestnut Avenue – 11:30 p.m. Patrol officers located a male subject driving a stolen vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop and safely took the male adult parolee into custody. -- Council District 8

ROBBERY – 4th Street and Walnut Avenue – 11:30 p.m. A male adult victim was assaulted and robbed by a male adult suspect. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. The suspect fled and is outstanding. The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 2

Monday, September 26

FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – Long Beach Blvd and Harcourt Street – 12:00 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop and discovered the male adult driver had a loaded weapon in the vehicle. He was arrested without incident. The female passenger was also arrested for
outstanding misdemeanor warrants. -- Council District 9

BURGLARY – 3200 block of Monogram Avenue – 4:30 a.m. A local elementary school had a storage container burglarized overnight. Long Beach Police and Board of Education officers responded for the investigation. -- Council District 3
