Tuesday, September 13

FELONY SUSPECT ARRESTED – 3000 block of Studebaker Road - 5:00 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person in the area of Studebaker Road and Spring Street. When officers arrived, they discovered two men had burglarized a business. A perimeter was established and after an exhaustive search, two male adults were arrested with the loss. -- Council District 5


Wednesday, September 14

ASSAULT – 30 block of West Plymouth Street – 12:30 a.m. Three adult male suspects assaulted a male adult victim. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene by the Long Beach Fire Department. The suspects fled prior to the police arriving.  The investigation is ongoing. -- Council District 8

BURGLARY – 3700 block of Atlantic Avenue – 1:30 a.m. Patrol officers responded to a burglary alarm call and discovered an unknown suspect(s) broke into a local business. The investigation is continuing. -- Council District 8

HOMICIDE – 7th Street and the 710 Freeway – 3:00 a.m. The male adult stabbing victim from 9/12/11 was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Homicide detectives are continuing the investigation. -- Council District 1
