Council District 1
FELONY ARREST – 1000 block of Chestnut Avenue – 7:30 a.m. Officers responded to the scene of a vehicle burglary in progress and observed two adult male suspects in the act. The suspects fled from officers but were quickly apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

FELONY ARREST – 800 block of Alamitos Avenue – 11:00 a.m. Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop and located narcotics in the vehicle. Two adult suspects were taken into custody without incident.

Council District 4
ROBBERY – 1400 block of Orizaba Avenue – 07:30 a.m. An adult male victim was walking down the street when two male suspects assaulted him. The suspects took the victim’s property and fled from the area. Officers quickly responded and were able to locate one of the suspects. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident and recovered the victim’s property. The victim received minor injuries, which did not require medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
