Long Beach Crash Kills 2 Men, Injures a Third
Only one car was involved in the fatal accident on Redondo Avenue, police said.
Two people were killed Saturday night and another person was critically injured in a crash near the San Diego (405) Freeway in Long Beach, a police official said.
The crash was reported at 6:21 p.m. in the 2900 block of Redondo Avenue, according to Sgt. Aaron Eaton of the Long Beach Police Department.
``It was a solo vehicle crash,'' Eaton said. ``It happened just underneath the 405 overpass.'' Eaton said two people were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third person was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The cause of the crash remained under investigation. No names of victims were released.
