DUI Patrols Planned by Long Beach Police

It will not be possible to intentionally avoid the latest weekend DUI enforcement by the Long Beach Police Department, because the location has not been revealed.

But Long Beach officers in the department's DUI patrols will be joined by officers of the "Avoid the 100 DUI Task Force" in areas with high DUI arrests, according to a press statement by LBPD.

The teams will "stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the Department’s ongoing traffic safety campaign," the statement reads.

The DUI patrols will run Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to Sunday at 2:00 a.m.,

“This is a ‘Zero Tolerance’ crackdown, so Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over!” said Sergeant Doug Bender. Find more details here.
