Two Good Samaritans with CPR training from their their jobs saved the
life of a 19-year-old man found lying on the ground underneath the San
Diego (405) Freeway, authorities said Monday.
Long Beach firefighters were dispatched at 1:27 a.m.

As the Long Beach Fire Department truck pulled up, firefighters spotted two people
already performing CPR.
The two were an off-duty nurse and an off-duty lifeguard, according to
the Long Beach Fire Department.
By the time medics arrived, they found that the patient's pulse
had returned and his breathing restored.
