Closures Coming to 405, 22 Freeways Sunday

Here's a short list of your favorite routes that'll be off-limits this weekend.

Parts of the 405 and 22 Freeways will be closed Sunday night and Monday morning. 

Here's info on which parts, courtesy the Orange County Transportation Authority.

FULL FREEWAY CLOSURES  

  • Southbound I-405 Freeway Closed between Seal Beach Boulevard and the eastbound SR-22  (Closed from 11:59 p.m., Sunday, October 7 until 5 a.m., Monday, October 8) 
    •  DETOUR: From the southbound I-405 exit Seal Beach Boulevard and turn left, turn left on Westminster Avenue, continue east on Westminster Avenue to access the southbound I-405 on-ramp OR turn left on Bolsa Chica Road from Westminster Avenue, then turn right on Garden Grove Boulevard to access the eastbound SR-22 on-ramp
  • Westbound SR-22 Freeway Closed at Valley View Street(Closed from 11:59 p.m., Sunday, October 7 until 5 a.m., Monday, October 8)
    • DETOUR: From the westbound SR-22 exit Valley View Street and turn left, turn right on Westminster Avenue, turn right on Seal Beach Boulevard to access the northbound I-405 on-ramp OR continue north on Seal Beach Boulevard / Los Alamitos Boulevard, then turn left on Katella Avenue to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp

CONNECTOR CLOSURES

  • Eastbound SR-22 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway (Closed from 11 p.m., Sunday, October 7 until 5 a.m., Monday, October 8)
    • DETOUR: From the eastbound SR-22 exit Studebaker Road and turn right, continue north on Studebaker Road, then turn right on Willow Street to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
  • Northbound I-405 Connector to Northbound I-605 Freeway (Closed from 11 p.m., Sunday, October 7 until 5 a.m., Monday, October 8)
    • DETOUR: From the northbound I-405 exit Seal Beach Boulevard and turn right, then turn left on Katella Avenue to access the northbound I-605 on-ramp
