Police Influencing Election

The true color of the invisible hand guiding Long Beach's April 8 primary election is blue.  According to the OC Weekly, the Long Beach Police Union (POA) has spent a whopping $186,376.03 on the candidates they OWN, with much of the money being used to circulate inaccurate and illegal propaganda.

With an impending $billion pension shortfall that must be addressed, trust the cops to employ shady and illegal tactics to ensure the election of candidates they OWN, City Attorney candidate Charles Parkin, and city council candidates Lena Gonzales, Suzi Price, Roberto Uranga and Carl Kemp.
