Belmont Shore Residents Board Unfilled

The Belmont Shore Resident's Association (BSRA) barely met their quorum requirement to conduct its annual election and three board positions remain unfilled afterwards, something unheard of five years ago.  The BSRA has seen its membership dwindle from 400+ members five years ago to less than 75 members today, in a community of over 8,000 residents they CLAIM to represent.  As a former BSRA President, I see this as a problem for the community.   The BSRA claims to represent the community, but has alienated that same community from having anything to do with it.  The BSRA is now operated by a "select" group who do things their way without seeking input from the community it CLAIMS to represent.  Long gone are the times when BSRA issues made headlines in local news and EVERYBODY, not just their members, knew what was happening in their community.http://www.gazettes.com/news/belmont-shore-residents-elect-board/article_ed5e93fe-1fc2-11e3-88dd-001...
