Free Pass This Weekend to Museums, Zoos, Science Centers

'Museums on Us' provides free entry to attractions like museums, historical sites, botanical gardens, science centers and zoos this weekend for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch credit or debit card holders.

This weekend, residents may use their Bank of America/Merrill Lynch credit or debit cards for something other than paying bills.

Bank of America is celebrating the holiday season in its first annual participation in the 'Museums on Us' event.

The event will give free admittance for all Bank of America card holders to certain venues in Los Angeles.

There will be more than 150 Museums nationwide participating in the event on both Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to the museums, historical sites, botanical gardens, science centers and zoos will also be free to BofA customers.

The venues in Los Angeles County that will open to BofA customers free of charge will include the Autry National Center of the American West; Discovery Science Center; Hammer Museum; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Museum of Latin American Art; MUZEO and Skirball Cultural Center.

The kick-off for the event is this Saturday and Sunday but the promotion will continue to take place on the first full weekend of each month.  

'Museums on Us' is a national program that will enter its 15th season in January.

In order to receive free admission, you must present a photo ID and a valid Bank of America/Merrill Lynch credit or debit card. Free admission is limited to the cardholder only.
