Sweet, Simple Cranberry Sangria for the Holidays

Add a little "Ole!" to the festive season with a party drink for which everyone can be thankful.

This simple but delicious sangria recipe brings together vibrant colors and flavors that are perfect for all your end-of-the-year festivities.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large orange
  • 1 lime
  • 1 lemon
  • 750ml bottle of chardonnay
  • 1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur
  • 1 can frozen cranberry concentrate
  • 1 bag frozen cranberries
  • 2 cups soda water or Sprite or 7up

  • Cut the orange into 1/2-inch cubes, including the peel where possible
  • Cut the lime and lemons into wheels or wedges, including the peel
  • Combine fruit in a large punch bowl
  • Pour the chardonnay and orange-flavored liqueur over the fruit in the bowl
  • Add cranberry concentrate
  • Cover bowl and allow mixture to sit refridgerated over night for best flavor (this allows the drink to absorb all the flavors you’ve added)
  • When ready to serve, remove bowl from refridgerator and add soda for a frizzy sangria
  • Use frozen cranberries instead of ice cubes to add color as well as coolness without diluting the flavor.
