The Mediterranean style says casual but the dramatic staircase screams for a Hollywood entrance. Once you've arrived, you can relax and, the Zillow.com listing enthuses, "enjoy sailing in your front yard."

Front yard meaning the Pacific Ocean. This three-story, oceanfront house with nearly 4,000 sqare feet on the Long Beach Peninsula is among the highest-priced homes in the city this week. Price: $2,995,000.

The sweeping spiral staircase winds up a turret and carries you up and down three floors of this property at 6915 Seaside Walk, known by locals as The Boardwalk, on the Peninsula.

Among the highest priced homes listed in the 50-square-mile city, this four-bedroom, three bathroom spread features custom tile and paint, hardwood and travertine floors ans was only built in 2002, according to Zillow.com

"Open and airy floor plan has high ceilings, gorgeous architectural details including barrel ceilings and beautiful arches," the Zillow listing reads. "Panoramic ocean views."
