Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service: Leadership Long Beach and 3rd District Tree Planting

Looking to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and help beautify Long Beach, please come out and volunteer in association with Long Beach 3rd District Council Office and Leadership Long Beach alumni.  Trees will be planted in a community effort on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Sixty-five trees will be planted along Palo Verde Avenue.  Please make sure to bring your own shovel and gloves, and be prepared to get dirty!
