Candlelight Vigil for Japan

Community organizer Justin Rudd hosts this sunsent candlelight vigil for the victims of the recent earthquakes and tsunami. Free parking in all beachfront lots. All ages welcome. Checks payable to RED CROSS will be accepted. Attendees will be updated on other ways they can help, too.

If you wish, bring a single-stem flower to toss into the ocean and a candle to light after the sun sets.  Please bring extra single-stem flowers and candles to share.

Councilmembers, former Long Beach Mayor Eunice Sato, faith leaders and Japanese-Americans will speak.
