Weeknight Closures to Delay Traffic from the 405, 605 and 22

West County Connector workers took a break to allow for Independence Day holiday traffic, but this week they are back at it with the several serious freeway closures over night. Expect more nighttime delays and closures for commuters between the Garden Grove (22), San Diego (405) and San Gabriel (604) freeways according to the Orange County Transportation Authority under the .

West Segment Closures

Noted Times: All closures will happen on Tuesday from 11:59pm to 5am and Wednesday and Thursday at 10pm to 5am., unless otherwise noted

• Both the northbound 405 from Seal Beach Boulevard to the northbound 605 and southbound 605 from the southbound 405 to Seal Beach Boulevard will be closed.  At least one lane will be open at the time for both segments.
• The northbound 605 from the northbound 405 to Katella will be closed at the noted times and on Friday from 10pm to 7am.  At least one lane will be open.
• The southbound 605 from Katella to the southbound 405 will be closed at the noted times and on Saturday from 10pm to 7am.  At least one lane will be open.

East Segment Closures

Noted Times: All closures will happen on Tuesday (7/5/2011) at 11pm to 5am and from Wednesday (7/6/2011) to Saturday (7/9/2011) at 10pm to 5am.

• Northbound and Southbound I-405 lanes will close from Westminster Avenue to Seal Beach Boulevard, at least one lane will remain open at all times on both sides.
• The southbound 405 to connector to the eastbound 22 will be fully closed from 12am to 5am from Tuesday to Saturday.  The detour for this route is to exit Seal Beach Boulevard from southbound 405, left on Seal Beach Boulevard, left on Westminster Avenue, Left on Goldenwest Street, then proceed north on Goldenwest Street to access the eastbound 22 on-ramp.
• The southbound 405 Bolsa Chica Road off-ramp will be closed.  The detour for this route is from Bolsa Chica Road, proceed south to Westminster Avenue and turn left, proceed east on Westminster Avenue to across the southbound 405 on-ramp.
• The eastbound 22 Garden Grove Boulevard ramp will be closed.  The detour is from Garden Grove, proceed east to Goldenwest Street to access the eastbound 22 on-ramp.
• The northbound 405 Seal Beach Boulevard off-ramp will be closed.  The detour is from the northbound 405, exit Westminster Avenue, left on Westminster Avenue, proceed west to Seal Beach Boulevard.
