The brunt of the storm is expected Sunday night with a 90 percent chance of rain, according to the weather service. On Sunday night, the rain could be heavy at times. Monday will also see a high likelihood of showers.

Temperatures will stay cool over the weekend, peaking in the low 60s. Overnight temperatures will be in the low 50s. The cool wet weather is expected to bring snow to the local mountains. So, if a gloomy wet day at the beach doesn’t appeal to you, you can always pack up the car and go skiing or snowboarding this weekend.
