Port of Long Beach Offers Free Boat Tours

The narrated tour is offered by the Port of Long Beach through October.

All one needs to embark on a boat tour of the Port of Long Beach is a reservation and sense of adventure.  

Residents and visitors alike can take in the sights and sounds of the international seaport this summer while aboard a free narrated tour offered by the Port of Long Beach.

They will also have the opportunity learn more about the port, which is one of the busiest seaports in the world, providing a link of trade between America and Asia.

This year, the Port’s tour program includes a special "sunset cruise" each month, capturing the harbor at evening time. To make reservations and see tour dates, click here. Reservations can also be made by calling (562)283-7700.

The Port of Long Beach, the second busiest seaport in the United States, is a hub of international commerce with massive freight ships, powerful tugboats and soaring cranes. Participants can see it all from the water on one of our 90-minute tours offered through October.

Online reservations for June tours opened Monday.  For other months, reservations can be made the first working Monday of each month for tours the following month. On June 4, at 8 a.m., reservations will be available for the July tours and so on.
